Liberty Property Trust has just completed a massive renovation of its newest Sustainable building, 151 South Warner Road in King of Prussia, PA. This structure was originally built in 1983. In 2008, it was transformed into a "World Class", single tenant office building. As a renovation of an existing site, the building was pre-certified for LEED Silver for Core & Shell. In support of LEED-CS certification, 151 South Warner boasts a spectrum of green features. Energy efficiencies were achieved through a highly reflective and extra insulated white roof to maximize air control. During construction, extensive recycling diverted 90% of waste materials from landfills. Water efficiencies were achieved through low-flow shower heads, waterless urinals, sensor faucets, and water-efficient landscaping. To allow more light to permeate the space, Meyer developed a new "through" lobby and increased the ceiling and window height. Other renovations include: increasing the square footage per floor by 9,000 SF, adding an impressive three-story glass atrium, re-skinning the entire building, landscaping and redeveloping the site, relocating the elevator and stairs, upgrading restrooms and increasing parking.
